The FASTER Trainer Register is an information directory operated by FASTER Health and Fitness. We list trainers who qualified through FASTER and publish factual information about their qualifications, insurance and first aid as supplied and checked at the point of listing.
FASTER is not a party to any agreement between a member of the public and a trainer. We do not provide, supervise, broker or guarantee personal training services. We make no warranty about the suitability, safety or outcome of any service a trainer delivers. Verification dates we publish reflect what was checked at a point in time and are not a guarantee of current cover. You are responsible for confirming a trainer's current insurance, qualifications and suitability before engaging them, and any contract is strictly between you and the trainer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FASTER accepts no liability for the acts, omissions or services of listed trainers.

We ask for the least we need. The public can browse and assess trainers without giving us anything. We only record a lead event at the point you choose to unlock contact details, and we never capture the conversation that follows.
Trainer listing data is kept while the listing is active and for a short period after removal. Lead event logs are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Proof documents are kept only as long as needed to verify a listing.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to request erasure. These rights are not all absolute: in some cases the law lets us keep data despite a request (see below). To exercise any of them, email privacy@fasterfunction.com. We will respond within one month; where a request is complex we may ask you to clarify it, which can pause that time while we wait for your reply.
We do not make any decisions about you by automated means or profiling. A human reviews and approves every trainer listing.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first at privacy@fasterfunction.com so we can put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk at any time.
You can ask us to delete your data. The right to erasure is not absolute: we will consider your request and, in most cases, action it within one month. We may decline, in whole or in part, where the law allows us to keep the data, for example to comply with a legal obligation, to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or where there is another overriding lawful reason. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you why. Trainers can remove their own listing at any time, and FASTER can remove any listing.
The site uses only what is strictly necessary plus, with your consent, basic analytics.
